Know Your Home Value
One of the most difficult decisions for a homeowner who wants to sell their home is how much they should list it for. Part of the problem lies in the fact that homeowners often overvalue their own home, due to things such as emotional attachment to it or, they overestimate increased value from improvements they have made. And many times, homeowners simply don’t know what the value of their home is – they may not even have a ballpark figure to work with, or their figure could be way off.
Determining your home’s value can be difficult; it’s more than just a matter of knowing what you bought the home for. Land and properties appreciate and depreciate in value all the time, and for a number of reasons. You shouldn’t have to wade through these different factors and elements on your own, and that’s why we’re here to help.
When you work with CRE, we’ll tell you exactly what your home’s value is through CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) and CVA (Current Value Assessments.) This will help you know what to list it for, and make sure that it’s listed properly the first time – one of the best things you can do to attract the right kind of buyer.
Knowing your home’s value can be a tricky thing, but it doesn’t have to be. Give us a call at CRE and know the true value of your home, and the dollar amount you can expect to get from it after the sale!
